Shri. Sharad Pawar, Agriculture Minister visited Israel from 12th Nov. to 16th Nov., 2005. During this visit Dr. Mangala Rai, DG, ICAR & Secretary, DARE and Shri Yosi Ishai, DG, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Israel signed the Agreed Minutes on 15th Nov. 2005 to intensify cooperation in the fields of micro-irrigation, dairy, protected cultivation of horticultural crops, organic farming and date-palm cultivation under the existing umbrella Agreement signed on December 24, 1993 at New Delhi.
