ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION INTO
INDIAN AGRICULTURE UNIVERSITIES
 
 
Course Eligibility Requirements
 B.Sc. (Agriculture)
10+2 or equivalent in Science/Agriculture with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/Agriculture with at least 60% marks or equivalent OGPA.
 B.Sc. (Horticulture)
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology with 60% marks equivalent OGPA
 B.Sc. (Fisheries)
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology with 60% marks equivalent OGPA
 B.Sc. (Forestry)
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Mathematics with 60% marks or equivalent OGPA. Physical fitness is also essential.
 B.Sc. (Home Science) Hons
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology, Agriculture/Home Science with at least 60% marks or equivalent OPGA.
 B.Sc. (Sericulture)
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Mathematics with 60% marks or equivalent OGPA
 B. Tech.(Agricultural Engineering)
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or equivalent with at least 60% marks or equivalent OPGA.
 B. Tech. (Dairy Technology)
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or equivalent with at least 60% marks or equivalent OPGA
 B. Tech. (Food Science & Technology)
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Mathematics with 60% marks or equivalent OPGA
 B.Sc. (Agril. Mktg., Banking & Coop.)
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Mathematics with 60% marks or equivalent OPGA
 B.V.Sc. & A.H
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or equivalent with at least 60% marks or equivalent OGPA
 M.Sc./M.J./M.Tech./M.V.Sc
Must have completed their Under-graduation in Agriculture relevant disciplines and secured on OGPA of 7.00 out of 10.00 or 60% marks or equivalent at the graduation level in respective discipline. Those coming with graduation in Science will have to take one year courses in Agriculture for M.Sc.(A. ) programmes. For M.V.Sc. programme. The candidates must have completed B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme of 5 years duration and also internship programme of six months duration
M.B.A. Programme
Engineering/Technology, Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Veterinary, Home Science, Commerce, Business Administration/Management, Computer Application with at least 60% or 6.00 out of 10.00 OGPA
Ph.D. Programme
For Ph.D. Programme, the candidates should have passed their Masters degree in the relevant subject of study and should have obtained 60% marks or 6.00 out of 10.00 O.G.P.A. during master’s programme. The Masters Programme should be of two years duration after graduation otherwise they would have to undergo one-year programme of deficiency courses.
