COURSES OFFERED TO STUDENTS

At present, Under-graduate programmes are offered in eleven major disciplines such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Forestry, Home Science, Sericulture, Agricultural Engineering, Dairy Technology, Food Science & Technology, Agricultural Marketing, Banking & Cooperation, and Veterinary Science. At Post-graduate level programmes are offered in as many as 65 different disciplines. All Universities also offer Ph.D. programmes in these subjects.
Course Duration Eligibility Requirements
 B.Sc. (Agriculture) 4 Year Programme
10+2 or equivalent in Science/Agriculture with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/Agriculture with at least 60% marks or equivalent OGPA.
 B.Sc. (Horticulture) 4 Year Programme
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology with 60% marks equivalent OGPA
 B.Sc. (Fisheries) 4 Year Programme
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology with 60% marks equivalent OGPA
 B.Sc. (Forestry) 4 Year Programme
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Mathematics with 60% marks or equivalent OGPA. Physical fitness is also essential.
 B.Sc. (Home Science) Hons 4 Year Programme
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology, Agriculture/Home Science with at least 60% marks or equivalent OPGA.
 B.Sc. (Sericulture) 4 Year Programme
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Mathematics with 60% marks or equivalent OGPA
 B. Tech.(Agricultural Engineering) 4 Year Programme
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or equivalent with at least 60% marks or equivalent OPGA.
 B. Tech. (Dairy Technology) 4 Year Programme
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or equivalent with at least 60% marks or equivalent OPGA
 B. Tech. (Food Science & Technology) 4 Year Programme
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Mathematics with 60% marks or equivalent OPGA
 B.Sc. (Agril. Mktg., Banking & Coop.) 4 Year Programme
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Mathematics with 60% marks or equivalent OPGA
 B.V.Sc. & A.H 5 Year Programme
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or equivalent with at least 60% marks or equivalent OGPA
 M.Sc./M.J./M.Tech./M.V.Sc 2 year Programme
Must have completed their Under-graduation in Agriculture relevant disciplines and secured on OGPA of 7.00 out of 10.00 or 60% marks or equivalent at the graduation level in respective discipline. Those coming with graduation in Science will have to take one year courses in Agriculture for M.Sc.(A.) programmes. For M.V.Sc. programme. The candidates must have completed B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme of 5 years duration and also internship programme of six months duration

Note: OGPA/Percentage varies from University to University. Candidates who have completed their graduation/post graduation from abroad must submit a copy of their certificate, transcript or mark sheet in English to determine their eligibility.
